I liked the TTD for 1/7/10! I can tell you that it was much appreciated and that someone (that shall remain un-named) NEVER did that before! |

Mr. Kyoshi,
I am a Police Sgt. and a student of karate, I teach self-defense courses throughout the state of Texas, I enjoyed your tip on self-defense, they are dead-on, people who teach self-defense often forget about the fear factor as well as knowing the scientific proven effect on the vital areas of the human body that cannot be toughened by weightlifting. Thank you for your instruction, I look forward to more tips on self-defense. |

Happy Thanksgiving Kyoshi,
and to everyone else.
We should be thankful to have such an incredible karate instructor who teaches TRUE karate-do right here in the United States. |

KYOSHI,
I always enjoy reading your training tips of the day. Even though I am deployed to Iraq, I still find the time to train and continue my study of our art. I saw where your son is now a part of 160th. Good for him old Rangers like me very much appreciate a helicopter late at night. I hope to start training the Iraqi Commandos. There commander has expressed interest. I will continue to read your post and learn from them, if I do start teaching the Iraqis I will definately send photos. I am hoping one day to get the opportunity to train with you.

I've visited various times and this time was the best. Great article by Jeremy, and also many excellent articles/thoughts by Kyoshi Capanigro. I hope our little dojo will continue to grow and our black belts too, to provide quality traditional training. It's amazing how the learning doesn't stop! |
